It is a violation of US copyright and trademark rights of the respective owners for an unlicensed costumed character to be present at a child's birthday party; not only is the performer at risk but so, too, may be the party maker, i.e., the parents. To our knowledge, the owner of children's television characters have not licensed any mascot head costumed characters for private party use. We have mascot-type costume of generic characters but cannot represent them and do not represent them to be the more famous characters.
